Gary Lee Logan, 60 of Columbia, entered his Eternal Home on May 30, 2012. Family was present with him at Columbia Manor, where he had resided for 2 months.

Services will be held at 10 am, Tuesday, June 5, 2012 at Parker Funeral Service. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 pm, Monday, June 4, 2012 at the funeral home. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.

Mr. Logan was born May 22, 1952 in Columbia, Missouri to Byron and Pauline Logan. He was a 1970 graduate of Hickman High School and completed a course in Electrical Technology at Linn Technical School, Linn, Missouri in 1972. An illness which began when Gary was a young adult altered the course of his life, but his interest in science, technology and math persisted for many years. Gary was proficient in the guitar, enjoyed music, loved his family and was a serious student of the Bible. His life reflected a deep trust in God in all circumstances.

Mr. Logan was preceded in death by his parents, his aunts and uncles and a first cousin. He is survived by two brothers, Ron and Dearl and his sister-in-law, Susanne as well as three nephews, one niece, four great-nieces, one great nephew and numerous friends.

Memorial gifts may be made to Harambee House, where Gary lived for 13 years, or to Hospice Advantage, both of Columbia.
